The last event we had a great turn out, lets try beat 5 cars this time. 3 of them were rotary powered!

EDIT: Cruise times and meet up point

This coming weekend, 26 July, 12.30 meet at Tuggeranong Macca's for a 1pm departure to Orroral Valley.

Tell yo friends.

Cool beans, so we could book in either next weekend (19th-20th) or weekend after (26th-27th) Which one works better for everyone.

And any ideas on what do to, where to go etc.

Also we are having another cars and coffee day at the office in August. I will post a separate event for that.

26-27 is better for me.

We could go here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orroral_Va ... ng_Station

The road is not too bad, no fuel stations, but the valley is nice. Seats and picnic area where the tracking station used to be, plus load of kangaroos. Also loads of concrete ramps and bowls for BMX and skateboards.

It wouldn't be a bad place for some nerf. Also a great place to live when the zombie apocalypse arrives.

Saw this thread after the forsale one.

I'll have to bring a non-rotary vehicle but will bring camera.

Michael will be interested also as well.

This place looks wicked Austerror, I'd be keen to go here. Unfortunately I won't bring the new seven, it has a blown water seal :( so looks like I'll be bringing along old faithful.

Alright, so is the 26-27 seems like its better for everyone.

I can't find an actual address for the Orroral Valley Tracking Station, maybe someone who can work the internet can help *cough* Simon *cough*

So say we meet at queanbeyan/fyshwick as in wikipedia it says its about 50km south of Canberra, then cruise down that way. I'm sure there might be a cafe or such there, or if we want to bring stuff for a picnic.

The other option out that way is the old Honeysuckle Creek site, which was the first place that the video of the moon landing was received.

I'd be happy with either.

Saturday afternoon works best for me. There are no facilities out there, so I'm expecting not to do any food stuff.
